Commission a painting of your favourite place, house or landscape!
As an enthusiastic plein-air painter, I'm happy to travel where needed to paint outdoors. I normally start with a quick sketch in order to agree with the client on the content and the composition. I then work from observation, paying particular attention to the local light and colour, which is very difficult to achieve when working from a photograph. A landscape can look very different from one hour to the next as the light changes constantly. It's therefore important to work quickly, ideally completing paintings in one session, with only a small amount of final touches in the studio.

Delivery schedules: from 1 to 6 weeks depending on the type of work
The prices include a non-urban subject, with generally a fore-, middle- and background and 1-2 constructions (houses, church, road, etc.) without any human figure. Contact me if you'd like a quote for a larger format or for a broader subject.
The prices do not include framing. I'm happy to provide framing options and quotes on request.
The prices do not include travel costs for sessions away from my studio, which will be quoted and billed separately.
Payments: 50% advance at start of work and 50% upon delivery of final artwork.
